And so, my birthday is tomorrow...

And up till now I've got nothing planned yet! I don't feel anything this year man, I mean I don't have the urge or hype to celebrate it as compared to the previous few years, where I'll always be pretty much excited about it and have some party or sort. But no, not this year.

I guess maybe it's because I'm getting older that's why! No wonder I always see mum and dad like don't feel anything much for their birthday one! They will think it's just another day, and when I was younger I always question them oh why aren't they like excited for their birthday one and ask them to celebrate it! Hahaha! Now I can slowly know why... So anyway, I guess my bffs (Fingers) will be celebrating it with me though, and it should be a simple one! Hahaha! For now, I'm kinda sick of big parties already!

Probably when I'm 25, I'll make another huge ass party again!

Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards'11

Come come come new entry again!!!!

So during last year, around mid-December both me and my lil bro went over to KL, Malaysia to attend the Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards! And it was quite fun cause it's the first time both of us went overseas together, though it's just Malaysia (I know right lol!) and even so, I did brought Ran around to shop over at KL since I'm kinda familiar with the place and we had loads of fun as well as arguing for quite abit!

Okay, so some of the highlights were...

(You can skip this part if you're just here for pictures, scroll down superficial!!)

1. We were the first to reach at the meeting point (where the coach will fetch us to KL) in the morning than the rest of the bloggers (super rare sight okay cause we are always late! Hahahaha! Not like it's a thing to be proud of, but yea hahaha #justsaying cannot is it?!!!!).

2. Ran being super dumb that day, upon entering the hotel room went to use my fungus infection solution and use it as eyes drop and drop the fungus infection solution into his eyes while I was showering wtf!!!!!! You know how crazy it is, super scary cause his eyes were super red and he say it's like burning! Siao one lor! Luckily nothing happened after washing his eyes with water!

3. Me being drama, teared while we were shopping at KL cause I suddenly miss my mum (HAHAHAH! So embarrassing!!) and I kept thinking of her! Hahahah! Ran totally think I'm acting lor wtf.

4. DIDN'T GET TO BRING RAN TO EAT SNOWFLAKE! We went 15 mins before they close and they told us we cannot buy already cause it's close??! Super angry and so I didn't get to eat as well! :(

5. Last minute went to book air tickets back to Singapore just few hours before our flight cause Ran say he don't wanna sit the coach back as it's pretty much torturing, which I cannot agree further.

But it's way too small for me (no size already so I bought one size smaller T_T) and it hurts so bad when I walk so I only wore it once! Super wasted I know, and I bought 2 pairs somemore in different colour and design! SADD! But I think Ran can wear so it's not that bad.....

School already started for 3 days and since then, I don't know why I get so tired (cause my lesson is only just 3 hours a day) and so I've been sleeping really early these few days! I wanted to go for a run one cause I plan to take IPPT this Saturday so I need to at least run abit! But now I'm too tired to even run man!

Sigh! I guess maybe I'll change it and take my IPPT on next Monday or so! I think I'll fail! :(

I really wanted do a small sum up of this year 2011 but maybe I'll do it later, I just wanna enjoy the very last moment of the year first! Yes, this year I'm not heading out but will be home doing what I love the most! Slacking and lazing around! For those who don't know, I super hate crowded place!

Hohohoho! I just woke up from a nap yet I'm still feeling so tired!!!

Anyway, received the letter to pay school fees today and it's like friggin 6k wtf.

I seriously have to go bank loan for it already cause still have to pay 3 more times! And I don't know how am I going to pay back after I graduate lor! I think I might go back to work a part time so that I can save abit more money, in order to pay back easier next time but I'm also scared that I might not be able to cope with school since my first semester exams had already been so crazily tough.

But I think the possibility of me spending all the money (that I work from part time job) instead of saving is really high like 99%! Hahahahaahaahahahaha! .... Truestory.jpg

SNSD Singapore Concert 2011

Really awesome cause Ran bought tickets to Girls Generation Concert (mosh pit standing one) and brought me to watch it! He actually promised to treat me go watch since 2009 when I was in army still and that time I brought him to Stefanie Sun concert, so he was like telling me if one day, SNSD come to Singapore for concert, he will treat me go as well! And after 2 years, they really came! Hahaha!

We didn't take much pictures cause we didn't bring our cameras along (not like we can take if we brought cause the security are all so strict), so some of the pictures taken using my phone!

And if you're expecting to see pictures of SNSD, I'm sorry, I didn't take any.. LOL!

TO THE CONCERT!!!!!!!!! *like one of the memes*

Apparently, I feel that I was back in the army when I went for this concert cause it's filled with so many guys wtf! And many in pink somemore, taking about fanboys huh! Hey guys! Just a lil pure update for those who wanna know what I've been doing!

I just change my hair colour again, and this time round it's completed with a new hair cut! So I guess I can say I'm no longer a blonde anymore though I really love the colour! :(

But somehow recently I really wanna change the image of myself! So maybe you guys can gradually see the change in me (apperance/dressing) which I think you all can already see some difference from my recent few entries on what I wear and how I do my hair right!

Anyway, I'll take pictures of me with my new hair later since I'll be going to USS with uni mates, so I guess it's a good time to camwhore abit! Hahaha! Then I'll show you guys lah k!

Okay, new entry here as promised!!! :D

This entry is tad bit more... special(?) cause all the pictures are entirely captured by my phone, and why I say special it's because it's been so super long since I put up pictures taken by my phone up on my blog already, cause I cannot stand lousy quality pictures as time goes by as I blog y'know!

But I've been pretty lazy to bring my camera out cause it's so huge (Lumix G3), and even last time when I'm using Lumix LX3 I also lazy liao lor, don't say this one cause it's heavier and bigger! So have been using my iPhone to take all the pictures recently! Maybe I should bring out LX3 occasionally hor...

Not like it's not doing me good also! AIYA. But I still lazy to bring out! :x

I FUCKING PASS MY FIRST SEMESTER OF MY UNI STUDIES!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so super scared when I woke up just now, was freaking shivering before I checked my results! I slept at 6am and woke up at 10am with friends bombing my phone about the results and I was so nervous all these while!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'm feeling very lucky and happy to be able to pass all!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG. Still cannot believe it!!!!

Cause I thought I'm gonna fail as I didn't manage to do 2 of my papers, by didn't managed to do means it's really gone case kind! And I'm so happy cause my crazy effort to study so damn hard actually get paid off! Like how I used to study like siao before the exams period and I mean siao is really like siao!

I will head out to study until 4am or even later then go back home, sleep and when I wake up, I will go out straight to study again! Where it becomes a routine and I'm like a crazy study freak that period!!!!!!!!!!

And this time round I'm so stressed that I even cried while I was memorising halfway studying for my marketing paper! Cause I really felt stupid that I cannot memorise anything in and the textbook is so thick, wtf. I just suddenly burst into tears cause I never been so stress before!

And you also cannot imagine how nervous I was for my first paper for accounting! I nervous until I diarrhea for 2 times during the paper itself! 2 TIMES LEH!!! It's really mad!!!!!!!!!!!

I really did studied super hard for it, cause bffs and family are really shocked to see me studying like that!

Bffs even say that they never see me study so hard in my life before! Cause during poly days I would just anyhow read through then go for my exams already! But I'm so serious this time round cause I really don't wanna fail and repeat and waste money and of course, waste time! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

I actually passsssssssssss!!!!!!!!

It's unbelievable! Sorry to be so dramatic but I'm really happy!

I couldn't stand it anymore cause it was atrociously long and thick, plus with the black roots all together, it looks really hideous! But I don't know how long more I'm gonna bleach my hair though cause in the long run I don't think it's good for my scalp! But I still wanna have blonde hair for maybe abit more longer!

My invisalign journey (Part 2)

Hello peopleeeee!
As I'm blogging this now I'm already on my 3rd set of aligners, going to the 4th already! How fast time flies right! And yes, the picture above is me holding on to my first set of aligners! I'm so superbly happy so I need to take picture with it and show it to you guys! :D

Anyway, at the later part of the entry, there will be FAQ section, answering all the questions that you might have or wanna know about invisalign treatment! But for now, let me continue from where I've left you guys from my previous entry on 'My invisalign journey (Part 1)'.

So after Omni Dental Centre had done with my dental impression, 2 weeks later, I'm asked to head down to see the ClinCheck® which shows how the aligners will move my teeth to the final position!

Then after that, you will have to accept it or if not, discuss any concern that you might have so they can do changes before they do out the invisalign aligners! Usually there won't be any problems one lah, so I accepted it and waited for another few weeks for the invislign aligners to come!

And when it came (apart from being really excited).....

Dr Loh is helping me to put on the attachments on some of my teeth (in order to hold onto the aligners) which isn't really obvious and also helping me to put it on for the first time!

He's just like a sweet daddy! Totally got the fatherly feel! Hahahahahaha!!

And he makes me feel safe in his hands lor! Which is so important! Plus, I feel even extra safe since Dr Loh has 22 years of experience in Dentistry and further more, he is a Specialist Orthodontist!

Which basically means he is specially trained in this area and knows how to deal with complications! Someone once asks me before whether if GP dentists can treat Invisalign cases as well? Sure they can, if they're Invisalign certified! But if there are any complications and they cannot manage, the patient will still need to be referred to an orthodontist for treatment and then need to pay the orthodontist again which can be a big hassle and waste of time and money!

So I thought it's really nice and safe to know that at Omni Dental Centre, all of them are Specialists and I can have a peace of mind doing the treatment knowing that even if I happened to come across any problems or situation, they can handle them by themselves!

Alright, time for FAQ! But before that a picture of me camwhoring with my aligners again!

Frequently Asked Questions:

- How much does the invisalign treatment cost?

Basically invisalign treatment starts from 6k! And it varies depending on the complexity of the case! So you can actually go for a consultation with the orthodontist and he would advise you on that base on your case.

- I'm still a student, can the treatment be paid by installments?

Yes, they have interest free instalment plans to cater for individual needs! They make it a point where fees will never be a barrier to seeking a perfect smile with them!

- Are we able to do invislign for only the upper teeth or lower teeth?

Yes, you're able to! But it will be more worth it to do both the upper and lower.

- How long does the whole treatment take?

Depends on complexity of the case, it varies from 6 months to 3 years. For mine, cause I've got like 20-21 aligners, so it only takes about 10.5 months! Fast right?!

- Is it painful?

Not at all to me, as I only can feel the pressure! As there's no wires involved, so you don't need to be worried about ulcers which can be super painful and annoying! Also, brushing and floss can be easily since the aligners can be taken out! Can eat anything you like also! Heheheh!

- How do I know whether to choose braces or invisalign?

Depending on what you're looking for, for me I chose invisalign cause I'm vain (don't judge hor! heheh!) and I'm worried braces will look bad on me! But if you're not sure, you can go for a consultation with Dr Loh (my orthodontist) and he would advise you from there, since they provide both the treatment! Consultation fees is at $80 though, but if you decide to take up the treatment, the $80 will be waived!

- Do we need to extract teeth for invisalign treatment?

Depends! But it's pretty rare though, only for some cases only! For mine, I don't have to! And this will all be discussed at the consultation stage in detailed with the orthodontist!

- I still have some other questions, can I ask you?

I might not be the best person to ask since I'm not an orthodontist! You guys can actually give Omni Dental Centre a call at 6737 7375. And if you need, their website here for more instant and better reply!

Cause I'm sick of being skinny!

Yes, I just suddenly got really sick of being so skinny!

I think like many people are gonna kill me for that, cause I know right, alot of my friends (especially girls) have been telling me how they wish they have my body because I'm tad skinny and I can never grow fat even if I eat alot! I do think I eat quite abit sometimes cause I can keep munching on small bites even though I had my proper meals and on top of that I always confirm eat supper one!

But I don't know is it because I always skipped breakfast that's why I never grow fat, since everyone say breakfast is like the most important meal of all! But I don't really think that's the reason?

SO ANYWAY....

It has come to me that I suddenly feel very bored of being skinny ALTHOUGH I must say I do love my current size now and I think it's awesome cause I can wear alot of different clothing (including ladies apparels) that I like! And I always think that it's OKAY to be skinny because it's much better than being fat right? And skinny people can also bring out their own style and dressing not necessarily need to be those muscular kind what! YES, I'VE ALWAYS BEEN STANDING SO STRONG ON THIS POINT!

And one of the thing that annoyed me most is those muscular guys (dragonboat etc.) who has a fucking huge ego just because their body is muscular but when their looks are like.... bleh?

You know, those egoistic kind, thinking their hot or whatever because they got the body but sadly without looks? I'm not trying to insult people or what but I just cannot stand it when you don't have the looks but only the body, and you act like you're so fucking arrogant! Like wtf, got body so what?!!

Not saying those who are good looking and with hot body lah, but if you don't look good and yet have a nice body then you're actually just average (or maybe below average) only!

If you see those pageant contest, you can always see that those guys don't necessarily good look, but because of their nice body they are in those pageant right? So I don't see why those people can get egoistic about it? I mean I remember I did say before, on this entry on how people will rate and judge us guys based on our appearance! I think I'll paste it here since I think it's very much related!

I'm still not sure yet cause I don't think it's that easy too! Need alot of determination one eh! Shall see! It doesn't kill to remain the way I am also!

But if I succeed, I think everyone's gonna be surprised! ;)

And so I finally got time to edit pictures!
Yes, my exams are already over (since Tuesday) and I'll be having holidays all the way.....

...until next year January!!!! Shiok or what! New hair colour, going blonde-r!

Went for a dye to a lighter colour about 3 weeks back!
Though it's still not the colour I want yet, so I'm going back to dye it soon to even a lighter shade cause in real life it's still alittle bit yellow (I think)! Oh! And its the also the first time I bleach my hair too!

And I think it's quite okay leh? I mean not really painful as what people seems to say that it will be!

Just that it takes super long!!!! Like including my hair cut, it takes about 4 hours?

They also given me this Flowing Form (smoothing balm) from Wella!
Okay, but before that I think that I look kinda weird here though! :/

SO ANYWAY, you guys can also see my invisalign attachments too (which somehow is abit obvious here due to the angle of the picture)! So back to the smoothing balm, it's actually pretty useful cause I was telling my stylist I wanted something to smoothen my hair and he suggest I should use this!

Which actually works, wtf! I just put it on when my hair is wet and when it's dry, it really soft and smoother than what it usually is! I think it's especially good for people who always colour hair lor!

Or people who have dry hair like me! Hahahaha!

Exactly 1 more week to exam, my first paper! But I can't seems to study at all! :(

I don't understand how can people just sit there for hours to study lor, cause I'm someone who cannot keep still for long! I need to move around lah, if not I feel very uneasy! Hyperactive, maybe I am! Hahaha! Will try to start revision tomorrow! Maybe I should just head alone to some library to study, without any distraction! Everyone remind me to study okay? I must pass pass pass! *punch fist*

Oh yah! On a sidenote, remember the other time the test which I'm super worry about?

I managed to pass all!!! Not with flying colours though, but I'm pretty glad that I did managed to pass all 3!! Super shocking cause I thought I will fail at first! For those who don't know what I'm talking about, which means you guys didn't follow me on Twitter, and you should do so now if you haven't! Hahaha!

Harajuku Harajuku Harajuku!

Okay!!!!! Here I have some pictures taken on the day of the Harajuku Street Style Launch!

It's a really long day cause we have to be there at 8am and I've to skip my last lesson of school for it but it's all worth it I guess, cause it's fun!! Nothing much more to say other than I went to dye my brows (first time!!) and got my invisalign aligners that very day also and was wearing it for the show!!

Which I think I shouldn't wear it lor, cause it's my first day wearing it and I went dental about 2 hours before the fashion show starts! Ended up I feel that I look and talk so awkwardly with it! Maybe because it's my first time wearing it lah! Now it's like so much better, been wearing for about 9 days already!

Went to dye my brows for the first time!
It cost $40 for colouring and tweezing, which I think it's pretty fine!

But I still think the brows colour can be lighter leh, but they dye 2 times for me already and even leaving it for pretty long until the person tell me that it's the maximum they can go for this time round and they cannot dye any further! Yup, and pictures of me getting my invisalign aligners on a separate entry soon!

I did had a proper picture with her (but we only took 1) which turns out that I look really bad in it so luckily I've this another picture that I took (above)! She was really nice cause you know actually few minutes before we go up on stage, the stylist suddenly just put a cap on me (when I style my hair until nice nice already lah), then she was behind me and I think she said "Omg!" or something along that line!

Then she was like assuring me that I don't look bad and it looks fine on me!! Hahaha!

I think maybe because she sees or sense my shock face cause I was like keep doing my hair before it starts! Didn't know will wear the cap, but I think it still looks good though! I trust the Japanese stylist! ;)

If you guys are wondering what Real Steal is, it's actually a movie that is gonna show in the cinema soon!

And the other day I invited for the movie screening and after watching it, all I can say is... AWE-SOM-E! It's really a nice show and no, I'm not saying this because this is an advert but it's really nice!!!!!!!

Cause I'm not really a fan fighting or robot robotic kind of movie, but this turns out to be more than that!

All the robots looks fantastically good in the show!
It's pretty amazing on how all the robots can look so alive which makes you go 'wow', plus all the fighting scene between the robots are really exciting and not a second which you will think it's boring at all!

After watching I also somehow feel like having a robot also lor!

But I'll not use it to fight lah, but maybe it has the ability to move at a really fast speed? So it can fetch me to places and I won't be late for any events/appointments/school anymore! Hahaha! Shiok right!!

And yes, it must be in orange tooo!!!!!! Muahahaha!!! Maybe with polka dots as well!

To me, Real Steel is more than just boxing robots!
Other than that, it actually also has a father-son relationship drama in the show which I almost teared during one part of the show cause.... I thought it was really touching! :/ I love how they put it together with the flow of the show with the fighting of the robots which I think is a plus point to it!

Further more the kid, Max, is super cute in the show as well!

Life is really packed and exciting as usual!!! Just some updates on my life...

Tomorrow marks the last day of school, and in few weeks time we will be having our exams, and then holiday! It's like super fast hor, it seems that I just started school only leh! But I'm not going to school tomorrow as I've got to attend Harajuku Street Style Launch Party and have to go there to rehearse at 8am, which is abit siao for me! Anyway, more details here if you guys are coming down to find me!

Also, the invisalign aligners came!!!!!

Will be getting it next Monday and I can't wait to share with you guys more about it! Super excited for straighter teeth! Love Omni Dental Centre to bits!!! Other than that, another awesome milestone for my blog is that I'm going to be interviewed by NHK Tokyo-Kawaii TV!!!!!!! Weeeeeeeee!!!

Which will be broadcasted on Japan national tv!!!! How awesome it that!!! :D

Oh! And I'm also thinking of changing my hair colour to total off white blonde soon too!

My new blackberry in... leopard prings!

Yayyyyy! I've finally done with skinning my new bb yesterday night!!!!

This time round it will be more tedious, because we have to do it from scratch, unlike my previous pretty orange polka dots bb where I can just peel and stick! For this time round we have to trace those parts that I wanted to skin out on tracing paper, then trace it again on the sticker and then cut it!

It's super troublesome lah and luckily I've got my awesome friend, Goshi to help me!

Where almost the whole skinning is done by him except the batter cover door, which is done by.... yours truly! Hahaha! I know right, super embarrassing! But here you have it anyway, the pictures!!!!!

As some of you guys might have know, that Singapore is currently facing aging population, climate change and urbanization! Well, if you did pay attention in school or have been catching up with the news, I'm sure you guys will know about it! Which I think it's essential for all of us to know lah!

It's called green roofing!
Where some of the benefits of it are, it's able to moderate building temperatures, reduce the heat
island effect and pull pollution from the air! And it will be really pretty too, if all our buildings are all
green roof-ed! It can also further enhance the 'Clean & Green' image of Singapore as well!

Idea 2:

As for aging population, one of the most concern issues is that elderly want public transport to be nearer to them or be more accessible to their home place! So I suggest the idea of to have more (which they have now, but can build more) housing that are custom-built for elderly living (with elder-friendly features) and having it all really near to all the different modes of public transport!

Idea 3:

Errrrrr.... Hmmmmm... *running out of ideas*

Why hurt yourself? // Thejconcept

I don't like it when I see my close friends get all so emo nemo because of relationship problems.

Worse is when they purposely wanna carry on making themselves sad and not wanting to try to move on. Sigh! Please don't say I cannot relate to them or say things like because I'm not in their shoes before, so how would I know! Wait, so you mean I never fell in love before?

Sometimes I really can relate to their problems maybe because I've been through it before and know how torturing it can be! Don't understand why people would wanna let someone hurt you over and over again? Once is okay, twice is okay, but not that many times cause I don't think if that someone care or love you, he/she will wanna hurt you umpteen times! I know that feelings can't be controlled, and you cannot stop yourself from falling in love with someone. But if you tried so hard and always getting hurt in the end, with the other party not acknowledging or not feeling least appreciated on what you do, shouldn't you stop after thousands or millions of tries? Or you just wanna continue and hurt yourself? Or maybe you like it?

I know people might say persistent and determination is good, and you will never know if the other party will end up falling in love with you when you keep trying and waiting for him/her for years.

But what is the probability out of it? Or you sure you can handle and manage all the hurt all by yourself?

If you think that you can then you shouldn't be crying or emo-ing everytime cause nobody as a friend would like or want their friends to be like that. We only can tell you to give up and move on, not in a bad way, but maybe you will be happier? There are still so many wonderful things in life, so many new people to meet. Just take it that the person is losing out this awesome chance to get to know you or even be together with you. Life have to go on. I see no point in always feeling sad for someone when that other party might be enjoying himself/herself outside not even least bother about you or it's like maybe you don't even come across their mind at all. Prove to them and show them it's their lost of not having you!

And to those people who dare not to love, really shame on you. I super don't get it why people wanna lie or stop themselves from loving someone when they obviously know that they have feelings for? Life is so fragile and short, dare to love cause you might not know, what will happen to all of us tomorrow...

Sian! Seriously, life now for me revolves around school and nothing else!

And this 2 weeks there will be 3 test, which I just did one yesterday so 2 more this coming week! I don't remember when is the last time since I studied that hard for test anymore already lor! But this time round I did! Mum and my close friends almost thought I'm mad cause I usually don't study THAT hard at all!

My invisalign journey

Something that is life changing moment (to me) is going to happen soon! *ques dramatic music*

As you all know that recently, I did somehow complain about how annoying my front teeth is, cause one of it is actually alittle crooked! And it's affecting me pretty much because sometimes it's kinda obvious on pictures or even videos that in some angle, my teeth is crooked! Booooo!

Which then, I'm more conscious about it and slowly feel that my smile isn't that awesome anymore!

Although I didn't really have a problem with how my teeth look since young cause it was quite alright, cause my top row used to be really fine! I don't know whether is it because I played the saxophone, which causes one of my front tooth to turn crooked or what, but it wasn't that bad when I was younger!

But my bottom row of teeth is pretty crooked (I don't think anyone of you have seen it before yet right?) which is still, kinda okay to me cause I don't usually show them what!

And I know after saying this, some of you people will sure say that my teeth looks okay and it looks fine!

So here I have a picture of crooked front teeth for you guys to see how bad it actually is:

And this annoying one crooked front teeth will always reflect light, and will be very 'pop out' when I take pictures from certain angle (left side of my face)! So it's really getting on my nerves and I thought I really should do something about it! Not forgetting I have pretty crooked bottom row of teeth as well!

Which one of the fact about having crooked/crowded teeths is that, it's very hard to brush or even floss (I've experienced it for my bottom row of teeth so I know)! And prolong of it will lead to tooth decay or other dental problems! Which obviously is not what I wanted lah! So yes, I must do something!

BUT.

I don't really want to do braces because I am..... vain! HAHAHAHAHA!

Okay, that's pretty much of the reason, cause I'm scared I'll look bad and I also don't think my teeth are that serious to do braces leh! So luckily, there's another treatment which is call the invisalign!

The aligners are completely transparent which makes it hard to even let people notice that you're wearing them! Which is really a good thing for those who wanted to straighten their teeth and yet don't want to wear traditional braces due to all sorts of reasons, be it work or just purely, vain like me! Hahaha!

And I'm so happy that I'm doing this invisalign treatment with Omni Dental Centre!

So as I said it's my second visit cause the first time I went, they already did x-ray and dental impression of my teeth (something like a mould lah)! So this time round, I'm going to see my orthodontics, Dr Loh as he will explain to me clearly in detail about the treatment and to do another dental impression!

Super cute! They played Alvin and the Chipmunks for me to watch while I wait for Dr Loh!
Which it will still be played throughout the whole dental session for you to watch! Awesome for people who feels bored or needs something to distract them if they're scared! Hahahaha!

Got bored while waiting for the mould to set, so I randomly snap around!

Then to the bottom row of teeth!
And I must say that Dr Loh and his team are really nice and with loads of patience!

The nurses there are super caring and friendly which makes you feel so comfortable and happy even when I've to stretched my mouth big to do the mould! Hahaha! And Dr Loh took time to explain to me in detail of the treatment and keep stopping once in awhile to check if I've any questions that I'm in doubt with!

That's something I'm looking for and what we all need to look for when wanting to do dental treatment!

To sidetrack abit....

Cause I actually had a bad experience with other clinic before, where the doctor rush into things and want me to decide on the treatment that I want immediately which is ridiculous cause he didn't even give me time to think and not to say, explain it in detail to me at all! Siao one lor!

Imagine you're gonna pay so much for it and you obviously expect a great service and need to feel comfortable with your orthodontics as well right?! Glad I'm with Omni Dental now!

The 3 dental impression that will be sent to overseas!
Where they will then come back in about 2 weeks time, with 3D models of my teeth on the computer, on how the aligners will move my teeth to the final position! I can't wait! *excited*

Bah! I'm alone at home in this super cold crazy weather!

Ran went out, mum went grand's place and dad went to work! I'm seriously too tired to leave my house today, even though I slept till 2pm! Hahahaha! Somemore this awesome cooling weather makes me totally feel like slacking at home which is what I love doing most also! I'm actually a geeky boy!

So that's why I got time to blog now! *push up my thick specs*

But later I still need to pack my wardrobe cause it came already, so now I've 2 wardrobe for my clothes! Once I'm done packing then I can show you guys my room! Excited right?! Yay!

Hello y'all! I'm braving the storms and blogging here when I've lesson at 8.30am tomorrow!

I know right, I also got the urge + itch to blog but I'm so busy with school and it's killing me as all the test is coming up in less than 2 weeks time! Wtf super fast lor! Cause I like just started school only leh!

And for those who're attentive enough, you would have realise that in my first picture right, you can see that my contact lens is abit different from what I used to wear! Show you guys a closer look:

It's dark choco colour!
I love it cause it really enlarges my iris, not like my usual contact lens doesn't do that lah! But because this diameter is 14.5mm (and my usual one is 14.2mm)! Which some of you guys might think that it's just only 0.3mm of difference, but this 0.3mm does do make a difference lor!

But the cons of this lens is that it makes my eyes super dry (not as bad as those online lens) but still it pretty much hurt my eyes after wearing it after a long day, not really comfortable!

So after wearing it for few times, I've stopped wearing it already!

Not gonna say which brand cause it's not comfortable at all (don't want you all to spoil your eyes), but if you guys wanna know, I bought it over at JB (Sg never sell) and over at their optical shop!

See the lens makes my eye super huge and makes me look like I'm acting cute! Wtf!

Went over JB the other day with Benson just for a day-trip to walk around, eat and shop!

I think the last time I went there via public transport is about 1.5 years back (aunt do drive us in sometimes)! And I didn't know that it's actually that fast to reach JB by public transport eh! Like if there's no jam and all, about less than 30 mins right, you can reach already! So convenient!

Seriously, please don't judge me cause I really hate cutting nails and my nails, both hands and feet are in horrible condition which some of my nails has fungus infection even! :( Blame on me cause I don't takecare of it! And in order to make my nails look better, recently I started to go for manicure and pedicure!

Actually it's very common for guys to do manicure or pedicure what, I just don't understand why some Singaporean still cannot accept?! Yawns, quit living in the 80's already seriously!

And I managed to get him to do as well cause I say I'll pay for him! WAHAHA!

Hello! I'm back at Bugis Essensuals!
I cannot believe that my hair grow so fast lor! It's been only like, a month since I dye my hair? And the black roots are coming out so quick! It's so ugly so I decided to go back to touch up the roots!

Super lovin' coloured hair and there's no way I'm having black hair anymore!

For the past 2 years is no choice due to national service okay, if not you see last time before I enlisted I'm also always with coloured hair one lor! Cause I seriously think I look better leh, yes?

Then I decided to also redye my whole hair to a lighter shade!

It's just alittle tiny bit lighter, so there isn't much difference!

It's the time when I'm most awake!

Yes, it's 3am now and it's the time that I feel that it's the best to blog!

As you all know I blog the best during midnight when everyone is asleep!

Maybe it's just a habit, I don't know leh! But anyway, this entry I'm gonna show you guys a typical one full day that I went out, and with all the stuff that I did for the day!

Early morning:

It's really crazy for me as you all know that my sleeping hours are screwed recently after I ORD and I sleep really late like at 5/6am? And I wake up only during afternoon time!

So it's kinda like hard for me to wake up so early, just to have breakfast lor!

But I was really craving for mcdoneh breakfast the other time, and so yea! I set alarm clock and I really did wake up! But I pretty much treasure this of kind of lifestyle (sleep late, wake up late) cause once school starts, I won't be able to do that already! Or maybe I still will! Hahahaha!

I know right, this will be the second time I'm heading there, and yes, with my family again! But this time round, Ran will be going with us which means it's like a whole family trip and getaway! Protecting the Singapore Spirit!

NDP 2011 blogger engagement

Hey guys! So let me see it's going to be about a month since I ORD and I so wanted to do up a post to actually sum up genuinely how I feel for the whole 2 years serving the nation!

I hope I won't get carried away and write too much which then turns out to be really lengthy cause I really got alot to say (okay lah, I'll also try to put up some pictures of me in those army days), yes, 2 years leh, you cannot expect me to finish it in one paragarph one what?!

I somehow hope that after you people finish reading this entry, for those who haven't enlist can know what will you guys be going through or those who have been through national service can related to it! Also for those who might never get the chance to go through it (females), can somehow know how is it like and what do we get from doing nation service!

So I must be really frank to say that, before I got enlisted, I'm like dreading it as I really think it's a waste of time and I'm scared because physically I'm not really that fit as compared to others!

So I'm super worried and nervous about it!

Not just me, but my family and close friends are even more worried for me than I do! Also, going to the army means, no more petty hair which I used to have! Not forgetting, my blog which is one of my main concern that time cause I won't be able to have time to update anymore!

My hair before enlisted! Do you all remember how awesome is it?

But because alot of people who are giving me doubts that I won't be able to make it through the national service, they think that I'm so skinny and weak surely cannot make it one!

And I'm someone who always wants to prove people wrong, if I want to do things and have already made up my mind, I'll go all out and do and not hesitate at all! So it all started out when I was just starting, wanting to excerise alittle by running to train up myself for NS, it's just only after few days since I started running right, the enlistment letter came! I know right!

It was so sudden and I'm left with 3 weeks to enlistment with a really short notice!

So I called them and ask, they said it's because somebody dropped out so we have to slot you in! Wah! How lucky is this lor! So after much emotional drama (I secretly got tear abit), I went to get my hair shaved and got ready for my enlistment, which will be BMT over at Tekong!

First time without my hair!

And I must say that although the tough training and super little time that we have during the weekends, the 3 months of BMT is one of the best time I had for the 2 years! It seriously left me with loads of good memories and I made really good friends and buddy there!

Omg! I'm starting to feel emotional as I'm writing this! I really really enjoyed BMT alot!

I don't know is it because of the friends there or what but it's really enjoyable! Those days where everyone help each other out, doing road march, going outfield and SOC! Where we gossip and share our problems to each other is such a wonderful time! I really really enjoy it alot!

Though some people say I'm crazy when I say I like BMT and I don't mind going through again (okay, maybe minus the fieldcamp! hahaha!) when I'm already posted to unit!

My very first book out back home from BMT after 2 weeks there!

It's during BMT I get to know that I actually can go through all the training without falling out!

And it's also when I improved physically, got fitter (but now back to skinny liao) and much more healthier! Not just only physically but mentally I've got stronger as well, all the training that you to endure and also to manage the little time during the weekends! At the point of time when you are on the urge to give up yet pulling yourself back on track is what I'm impressed by myself!

I'm more obviously, *clears throat* more discipline and organised! Hahaha!

I also realise I'm stronger than what everyone and I thought I am! It's through BMT I made great friends and awesome bed buddy which we still are contacting now even!

We always have dinner together after we get to book out from Tekong!

I know I might sound abit kua zhang above saying about how awesome is BMT, but those days in BMT are really awesome to me what! That's why! Hahahaha!

I was so touched when my family all make it down!

So after BMT, I gotten my posting to the Airforce! But it's ground bases air defense!

To side track alittle, I didn't choose 'yes' to command school when asked is because I did went for the military band audition interview and they told me they will try to get me in, so I thought, of course I must choose no to command school if not cannot get into the band one leh!

But ended up, I don't know what happen but I'm in the Airforce! -.-

But it's maybe a blessing in disguise cause I learn so much more there and made alot of great friends too! Okay, I need to insert some pictures of mates in the Aiforce now! Hahahaha!

Then I got posted to Bravo flight! Loving the many fun cohesion!

And then, 45th batch join our flight! I love them to bits!

After posted to the unit, I also finally understand the need of us serving the nation!

Do you think Singapore can progress and developed to what we are now without a strong military and defense system? Of course not! What will happen to our love ones if we are not out serving and defending our country from threats? They might get hurt and all sorts of unfortunate stuff might have happen if other country chose to start war with us! Haven't you think of that?

It's because that we have such a strong, powerful and advance armed forces that somehow stop all this from happening and we are the one who is helping and keeping our nation safe!

And keeping the nation safe, also means keeping your family and friends safe!

Well, this unit also makes me realise and understand how much real operation works (as in like seriously real! life at stake here), as we have to do duty to guard the skies 24/7 everyday to make sure everything is right and safe so that out family and friends can sleep in peace!

We also do have outfield at times, which I still don't really like! Hahaha!

Look at our face after 3 days out in the field! Ahh.. memories!

Different tasking which trains us to be more responsible and also it's only when I got into the unit and after much training, I finally gotten a Silver for my IPPT (I only got a pass during BMT)!

And even for the second window for my IPPT, I gotten Silver too!

Was super shocked at that time because I kinda slack down alittle already!

Having to go through NDP mobile column must be the craziest day in my army life where I almost got depression because it's really tiring! Waking up at 3am, staying under the hot scorching sun, getting wet in the rain and only get to get back to unit at late night is really torturing!

I must not lie that I kinda hate it when undergoing the rehearsal and training!

I feel that I'm almost dying from it already! But after experiencing the preview and the actual national day, seeing how many people looking at us with smile, makes everything somehow worth it! And I also did help out alittle in this year's NDP before I ORD, but this time for the safety team!

I now really appreciate more when I watch the whole NDP show as I can totally understand what they have been through, all the training and hard work, not forgetting burning their weekends just to make a good show for our nation birthday! *claps claps claps*

It's really true that if you did not experience it before yourself, you won't understand what others have been through and I've experience it myself and been through it, so that's why I can related more and appreciate them more!

I must say I really learn alot during this 2 years of serving NS!

No, I'm not preaching! I know we all do have complains and stuff that we are unhappy about during serving, but as a whole I think and feel that the experience is priceless!

I got to learn stuff which I won't get to learn outside, made new friends that turns out all to be really close buddies, understand the bigger picture to doing national service, gotten myself mentally and physically stronger, more discipline and so so so much more!

I must say I don't regret going through national service, as it shapes me up to a better man!

I'm also always telling those who are going to enlist how fun it would be and asking them not to worry as everything will turn out fine! And true enough, everyone had a really positive experience!

After going through national service, makes me love Singapore even more and I'm happy to be a Singaporean and proud to be! You guys should feel this way too, and I'm sure you do! :)

Went for flea market over at SCAPE* the other day as I was given a booth there!
They actually gave me once the other time, but I couldn't make it down (and mum went on behalf of me) so I went down for this second one! It was AWESOME because so many of you people came down to find/support me and I'm really really very happy that day because of y'all!

When I first know my cousin is involve in this campaign where they do it voluntarily to stand up against smoking and to be free and beautiful, I was so happy and proud of her!

I mean, as you guys know I'm not a smoker and I strongly encourage people NOT to smoke!

Lazy Saturday!

Feeling super lazy today! So it's a lazy Saturday! ( ´(00)`)

Going to meet up with BMT mates later for ORD gathering, I know right, it's going to be about a month since we ORD but we now then decided to meet up! But not everyone is going though, some closer mates and my bed buddy couldn't make it! Shall meet him separately next time round!

Super busy please!

Hello.
I don't know why but suddenly it seems like everyday also got things to do and stuff to attend to! Luckily I never go act smart and work part time job before school starts lor, if not sure die!

Blog related stuff already got enough thing to make me busy already!

And for the past few days, I've been trying to revamp my room alittle! Kinda just adjusting all the furniture to different position because I'm intending to get another wardrobe and painting parts of my room which needed to be touch up! Also, adding on more and more polka dots!!!

Singaporeans, seriously?

So 2 days back, I went for the NDP preview (thanks airforce mates for the tickets) and everything was awesome except of which some acts of Singaporeans that totally disgust me!

Sometimes I don't understand why Singaporeans want to behave this way, and show others, especially foreigners, how rude we are! I mean obviously not all of us behave this way, but all because of how these people act, it then gives a really bad image and impression of us Singaporeans!

I shall not say about how rude Singaporeans are when taking public transport, or all those daily issues we all always faced! I mean, so much for saying, they still behave this way but what I saw 2 days back, during the NDP preview is something that really angers me!

I know some of you must be thinking, "please! you got so patriotic anot?".

I don't know, but if you're a Singaporean and you hate Singapore, you must be a really ungrateful person and I don't understand why are you still living here?! At least I know I love Singapore!

Not like to the extent that I'll kill someone when they say something bad about our country, but maybe I'll just get really annoyed and don't like it! I genuinely somehow like this place, and think how far Singapore have come and what will you be if you're not born in Singapore?

No natural disaster, good education system and so much more! If you wanna compare, compare with those living in the third world country, and then see if you will still complain and hate Singapore!

So back to what I saw during the NDP preview which totally pissed me off badly!

During the section, where we were asked to stand up for the national anthem, I saw a teen (prolly secondary school) sitting down while everyone stood up to sing the national anthem!

Can somebody tell me how fucking rude is this???!!!!!

If you're an elderly, it's fine if you couldn't really stand up and chose to sit down, which I don't even see that at all, as all the elderly stood up! But no, you're a young teenager and you chose to sit down while everyone stood up for the national anthem! Super shame on him man!

Which clearly shows that one, you ain't got any respect for the country, and two, how great your character is from this action! People like him should be told and I don't understand why people can stomp others kissing in the public and get all angry over such stuff yet feeling nothing and doing nothing when they (people around him) see this!

So you mean kissing in the public or sleeping on train is a worse action than that?

OH NOW I KNOW.

And please spare me all the stupid reasons you guys are gonna give me like, if he's sick or whatever! Cause he doesn't look sick at all! Unless you're saying that after the national anthem is finished, laughing and smiling to his friends is called being sick then I got nothing to say!

Apart from that, a lady sitting in front of me that keep on giving stares and 'tsk' at people when people cheer and get really excited during the NDP preview! Super wtf?!

Like seriously? If you're unhappy and don't like about it then don't come?

I mean it's normal and something 'right' that we all get hype up, excited and to cheer during such occasion what! If you dislike it or what, just stay home and watch the telecast from the tv lah! What for still come and torture yourself and spoils other people's mood and the great atmosphere there?

It's something to be joyful and worth celebrating about man! So if you don't like, just don't bother to come! Save the tickets for others who are more interested! PERIOD.

I'm back home! Super tired cause I've been sleeping really late recently and I just came back from town cause I wanted to go buy an iPad2 which turns out that the whole of Singapore is out of stock!

Siao! I didn't know that leh! So kua zhang lor!

I thought of getting a tablet recently because I can then use it out when I'm waiting for appointment/people or whenever I need to pass some time! I was also considering Blackberry Playbook but because iPad really have better photography apps to play with so I ended up decided to get it but since there is isn't any stock then I might just give it a miss!

Since it's not really a need also! Yea, some pictures!

Went to one of my Airforce superior's wedding the other day!
It seems like I'm really getting old cause I'm starting to receive wedding invitation already! And I can't wait to attend my close friend's wedding! Maybe it will still take quite some time lah hor!

Awesome 22nd @ Raindrops Cafe

Finally, the update on my 22nd birthday dinner!

I know this has been taking forever! But at least it's here!

I feel super guilty because it has been dragging pretty long (sorry raindrops!) and I'm like super buay pai seh to only blog about it now when I'm supposed to do it like, 5 months back? Hahaha!

Cause it seems like it's never ending to editing all the pictures as there's really alot (thanks to the photographer!) plus I'm just not discipline enough bring myself to sit down and sort everything out, until yesterday night! And I diligently edited until this morning okay?! *praise me* HAHA!

So anyway, for this year's birthday celebration...

I called it a birthday dinner instead of party because all I want is just to have all my close friends to gather together at this occasion and have a simple dinner together while catching up! Just purely that and nothing really fanciful! And I don't even want to have a birthday cake at first lor!

Alright! I know I'm talking too much, time for pictures! :)

The cosy Raindrop Cafe is where I decided to held my birthday dinner!

You can also see that on every seat for the guest, there is a menu for them!

And it's not just any other menu, but my own birthday menu specially did it up for me!

They can choose what they prefer to have for the Starters, Entrees and Desserts!
And all the dishes that appear in the menu is based on what I want and also after discussion with the Raindrops management! Can change it base on your budget or preference! You have the say!
