Yay! So last month I went for a staycation with my family, which was also supposed to be for my "birthday stay" over at Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel and it was really awesome! Thank you for hosting us! :D
The hotel is located at the east side of Singapore (opposite Parkway Parade Shopping Centre), and we rarely go there often because we stay super far away from the east! So I think it's a good chance for us explore that area and can also spend quality time together with both mummy and Ran! Woooo!
Daddy couldn't join us because he has to work! :( So sad! He say next time if got staycation, must plan on his off day so he can come and join us! Hahaha! Anyway on that day right, I went to check-in earlier by myself while waiting for them to come because Ran got army, so he will only can come in the evening!
Our room for the night! Beddddddddd!
Two small sofa seats at the side!
Desk and TV area!
Little greetings on the desk! :)
Over at the toilet! The usual self shot with the mirror there hahaha!
I then hop into bed to laze and watch tv while waiting for them to come! Love it!
Selca while lazing on the bed!
The view from my room window! You can see opposite is Parkway Parade Shopping Centre already!
While using laptop! Yes, I brought my laptop over but end up also never really use it! -_-
Anyway!!!! My Cookie Monster top!!! Bought it from Taiwan!!! :D
One last selca before I head down to meet mummy and Ran for dinner at their restaurant!
There have few different restaurants there, and the one we went to is breez bistro.bar! All the cuisine they served are halal and have a variety of local and international dishes, not forgetting drinks too!
Their setting are pretty simple and casual, but also having a modern touch to it!
Yay! With mummy and Ran! Finally they arrived, I was famished!
The menu! We each ordered one mains and some side dishes that they recommend us!

Thank you Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel for the birthday stay again, till I see you again next time! ;) For those who are looking for staycation, or whatever can go check them out over at their website! :D
Sorry if I haven't been blogging much lately, cause I'm really busy with school projects submission and all! Will try to blog more if I can! But exams is coming up also, but I'll try still! Love you guys!!
So the other time when I was still having my red hair, I went to tone down the hair colour by myself with henna powder hair dye because I was getting abit sick of the colour (didn't really like it, I don't know why you guys like it so much eh.... why ah?) plus it was fading into some ugly shades of red/pink!!!
And I used the henna powder hair dye which I got to know it from my grandmother, cause last time when I was younger, I saw her using it and she was telling me that using henna hair dye is better cause there's no chemical involved and henna was supposingly made from plant as well, thus natural! It's also very cheap!
So the other day, I went to took some from her to tone down my hair colour since I just dyed my hair and I don't wanna hurt my hair and scalp from having a full dye job again (dyed my red hair for less than 2 weeks only), I thought this will be an awesome idea to tone down my hair colour to a darker shade!
The henna powder hair dye that I'm using!
It comes in several colours like; black, chestnut brown, mahogany, burgundy, yellow etc etc.
And it's really very cheap, I saw it recently and it's selling at less than $5 for a box with 5 packets of henna powder hair dye inside! I can't remember exactly, but it's really super super cheap hahaha!!!!
The brand is Afrin, if you guys wanna get it!
Omg, I'm making this sound like an advertorial! Sorry ah, occupational hazard lolol!
So when you pour it out, it's in powder form and then you mix it with water!
Okay, after you're done with mixing it with water, you have to knead it well to break all the lumps before applying it on your hair! It's like making a paste or something hahahaha!
And here's my hair colour before I dye it with the henna dye!
After applying on the henna hair dye on my whole head!!
Close up!! You can see that there's it's slowly darkening it!!
Usually you have to leave it until it dries up but because I don't want a colour that is too dark, so I just leave it on for less than 10 minutes only hahahaha!! I just don't want it to be so red what, so it's okay!
And so the impatient me, washed it away in less than 10 minutes time and here is the result.....
Tadah! Really become darker shade and the colour is super even, not patchy or so!
The difference!!!! Before and After!!!!!
Not bad right, the effect! Turns out to be quite good!! One of the downside is that, it will be pretty messy cause dyeing hair yourself will make a mess and sometimes it gets onto your face and body etc etc.
But if you guys got nothing to do and free wanna play with your friends can go buy and dye since it's so cheap only!! And those people who needs to dye their hair black for reservist or because of some job or whatever can use this too!! But I think the henna hair colour will also fade as time goes by as well, so yeah! Hope it's a great tip for you guys, and I'll blog again tomorrow!!! I promise!!!! See you all!! Bye!!! :D
This entry will still be filled with pictures of me in red hair colour, but this should be kinda the last entry that you will see my hair in red cause for the next entry, I'll blog about how I darken my hair myself by using henna dye!! And I think my red hair looks really good in all the pictures in this entry and it's pretty awesome that I managed to capture it down, because after washing it for a period of time right, my red hair faded to some ugly shades of red/pink which I think is not as nice anymore! Hahahaha!
Anyway, went over to Tiong Bahru area with Esther and Isaac for early dinner and to catch up!
With Esther and Isaac!
I keep getting lost in the estate!
Selca selca selca!!
Another one with a different effect on the colour edit!
OOTD! Love my sailor baseball jacket that I got from Taiwan!
Close up of my sailor baseball jacket! Nice right!
Went PoTeaTo for dinner! Ordered fries as side dish and same mains to share!
Had 'Thousand Night Tea' which was supposed to help you (in other words, me) to have a good sleep!
Love drinking tea nowadays (is that the reason why my teeth is getting yellow due to staining T_T), and I'm so happy cause both of them bought me a teapot set for my birthday! Will take pictures soon!
Bangers and Mash!
